Netflix launched it's newest subscription tier yesterday.

CNN—Netflix launched it’s newest subscription tier yesterday.

The basics with ads subscription plan costs $6.99 per month and will let viewers watch the normal Netflix content for a discount, but they’ll also have to watch about five minutes of commercials per hour.

Each ad will last about 30 seconds and air before and during programs.
