Former Gamecock OL Stanley named Head Varsity Football Coach, Athletic Director at Dillon Christian

Donell Stanley, former Latta star and Gamecock offensive lineman, was named Head Varsity Football Coach and Athletic Director at Dillon Christian.

Stanley becomes the man in charge after Christian Wolfe decided to stepped down prior to the start of the season.

Stanley, a Dillon County native, was a 2014 US Army All-American Bowl selection and a finalist for South Carolina’s Mr. Football.

The former Gamecock played 50 games at South Carolina, starting the last 38. After his time at USC, he signed with the Miami Dolphins as a free agent.

In addition, Stanley played with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
