House of Representatives stalled over House Speaker vote

(CNN) — Now to Washington and Congress, where the House of Representatives has reconvened after Kevin McCarthy lost additional votes in his bid to become house speaker.

It’s the first time in a hundred years that the party in control failed to pick a speaker on the first vote.
