Columbia sets special election date to fill vacated council seat

Columbia, S.C. (WOLO)– During the Columbia City Council’s Wednesday meeting members approved a resolution declaring March 28th as the date for a special election to fill the vacant District 4 seat.

The seat was left vacant following the passing of Councilman Joe Taylor.

The winner of the special election will serve the remainder of the term ending December 31, 2025.
