Waverly Women’s Health to open on Gervais Street

Waverly Women's Health will open to patients starting January 16 at 2117 Gervais Street in Columbia, says Eau Claire Cooperative Health Center.

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— Waverly Women’s Health will open to patients starting January 16 at 2117 Gervais Street in Columbia, says Eau Claire Cooperative Health Center.

The women’s health center was previously headquartered at Cooperative’s 1228 Harden Street campus. The new 8,200 square foot facility will provide increased access to affordable care and improve health outcomes, say officials.

Services include primary care, gynecology, breast and cervical center screenings, obstetrics, behavioral health wellness, counseling, and more.

Waverly Women’s Health will operate Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m to 4:30 p.m. and is open to all women irregardless of insurance status or ability to pay for services.

Insurances accepted include Tricare, Medicaid, Medicare, among others. A sliding fee scale is also available for patients experiencing hardship.
