Today could be the final day of testimony for the prosecution in the Alex Murdaugh double murder trial after even more evidence presented to the jury yesterday.

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— Today could be the final day of testimony for the prosecution in the Alex Murdaugh double murder trial after even more evidence presented to the jury yesterday.

Maggie Murdaugh’s sister, Marian Proctor, took the witness stand with emotional testimony yesterday, including a conversation with Alex days after the murders that she described as “odd.”

On cross examination, the defense talked about Maggie being part of a loving family. Marian testified how terribly Alex was coping with the murders, and agreeing he was destroyed by them.

A source also saying Murdaugh’s attorneys are strongly considering putting him on the witness stand.
