Fairfield Coroner releases name in State Hwy 34 East fatal collision

The name of an individual who was involved in a fatal collision was released by the Fairfield Coroner.

FAIRFIELD, S.C. (WOLO)—  The name of an individual who was involved in a fatal collision was released by the Fairfield Coroner.

The incident occurred on State Hwy 34 East near Mood Harrison Rd. in Ridgeway, SC.

Hunter Matthew Mailly, 21, was the driver of a Honda Civic that crossed the center line striking a Dodge Ram pickup truck. Mailly had been traveling west on the highway in the early hours of Feb. 22.

The driver of the Dodge pickup truck was transported to a hospital, say authorities.

Mailly was pronounced deceased at the scene. The accident remains under investigation.
