Newberry deputies searching for blue vehicle in highway accident

Newberry deputies are searching for a blue vehicle that was allegedly involved in an accident on Hwy 121 near Old Newberry Highway on Feb. 24.

NEWBERRY, S.C. (WOLO)— Newberry deputies are searching for a blue vehicle that was allegedly involved in an accident on Hwy 121 near Old Newberry Highway on Feb. 24.

At around 8:30 a.m., authorities say the vehicle was observed traveling in the oncoming path of a tanker truck traveling toward Newberry. It caused the truck to leave the roadway.

The suspect in the blue vehicle left the scene.
