Pet of the Week: Cupcake
LEXINGTON CO., SC (WOLO)- Meet Cupcake! This 2-year-old Labrador-Nova Scotia Tolling Retriever mix is as sweet as her name suggests! She has been at Lexington County Animal Services for several months waiting for her forever home.
Cupcake came to the shelter after she, her sister, and a shared litter of puppies were seized from a neglectful home. Thankfully since then, Cupcake has gained a lot of weight and is healthy!
Shelter staff say Cupcake is fantastic with other dogs and people, already knows some basic commands, loves to give kisses, and is super sweet!
Cupcake’s adoption fee is $40, and comes with her spay surgery, up-to-date vaccinations, flea/heartworm preventative, and a microchip. The shelter is also always doing adoption specials and events, so they encourage you to keep a look out for St. Patrick’s Day events! Staff always recommend bringing any other pets or kids in for a meet and greet.
