RCSD: Mother arrested for homicide by child abuse

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Richland deputies arrested a Columbia mother for the death of her 8 month-old boy.
Breonte Glasgow, 31, was arrested at her home on Universal Drive this morning after she called 911 to report that the baby was not breathing.
He was pronounced deceased at the hospital. Investigators say the baby suffered multiple injuries, including broken bones.
It was discovered she was the only caregiver of the victims and his three siblings.
Glasgow is being charged with homicide by child abuse, two counts of unlawful conduct toward a child after two of the other children were found to have injuries they suffered while in her care, say authorities.
Glasgow’s three other children were taken into DSS custody that same day.
