Small earthquake reported in Fairfield Co.

Fairfield Co., S.C. (WOLO)–According to the SC Emergency Management Department the US Geological Survey reported a small earthquake in Fairfield Co.

Officials say the 1.37 magnitude earthquake was centered 13 km north-northeast of Winnsboro and happened at 6:33 Monday morning.

According to the SC Department of Insurance earthquake damage won’t typically be covered under a home insurance policy.
