Midlands Military Matters: 50 years since final U.S. forces left Vietnam

In tonight's Military Matters, 50 years have passed since the final American military forces left Vietnam and our remaining prisoners were sent home.

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— In tonight’s Military Matters, 50 years have passed since the final American military forces left Vietnam and our remaining prisoners were sent home.

Even though 50 years have passed, we still owe these vets a huge debt of gratitude.

Today in fact is National Vietnam War Veterans Day, dedicated to these heroes.

So we thank those involved who sacrificed so much, and for their courage in war and service.
