COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— Teams from across the Midlands came together to pull for cures in the fight against childhood cancers.
On Saturday, the 10th annual Fire Truck Pull saw community leaders and families of cancer survivors pull two 40,000 pound fire trucks from the Columbia-Richland Fire Department down a 30-foot section of Lady Street.
All proceeds raised from the competition will go to support Curing Kids Cancer and it’s ongoing mission to fund pediatric cancer research and treatment in the Midlands.
