Armed robbery suspect assisted by three juveniles
Sumter County deputies says an individual was arrested on March 28 for armed robbery with a deadly weapon and assault and battery in the 1st degree.

SUMTER, S.C. (WOLO)— Sumter County deputies says an individual was arrested on March 28 for armed robbery with a deadly weapon and assault and battery in the 1st degree.
Mitchell Thomas Kirby, 18, and three juveniles are accused of assaulting and robbing a victim while armed with a handgun on March 22.
Cash, jewelry, and a phone were taken, say authorities. The victim was injured due to the assault and battery.
The juveniles are in the custody of the Department of Juvenile Justice.
Kirby was transported to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center and was denied bond.
