SLED charges Lexington man with burglary

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– SLED arrested a Lexington man on multiple burglary charges.

Agents say 37 year-old Robert Brandon Neeley was charged on March 28 with Burglary–first degree.

He has previous charges of Armed Robbery, Kidnapping, two counts of Possession of a Weapon During a Violent Crime, Assault with Intent to Commit
Criminal Sexual Conduct – first degree and Criminal Sexual Conduct—first degree.

Neeley is accused of using aggravated force to sexually assault an elderly victim and holding a knife to her throat, say officials.

While in her home, Neeley took possession of her firearm, forced the victim into her car, and to withdraw money from a nearby bank.

He continued the assault at gun point throughout the night, according to arrest warrants.

The victim sought medical attention for her injuries.

Neeley was booked at the Lexington County Detention Center.
