Sumter PD: Bike registration provides extra protection
Sumter residents are being encouraged to register their bicycles.
SUMTER, S.C. (WOLO)— Sumter residents are being encouraged to register their bicycles.
While it’s not mandatory, the Sumter Police Department says it provides the person who owns the bike an extra layer of identification should it become lost or stolen.
