Chevy Bolt production to stop by end of 2023
General Motors is ending production of the Chevy Bolt by the end of the year.
COLUMBIA, S.C. (CNN)—General Motors is ending production of the Chevy Bolt by the end of the year.
The Bolt was the most affordable and accessible electric vehicle on the market starting at about $26,000.
GM is shifting it’s focus on trucks and the assembly plant where the Bolt was previously made will now house production for the 2024 Silverado EV pickup truck.
