Today is International Firefighters’ Day

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— Today is International FireFighters’ Day and the Columbia-Richland Fire Department is hoping to inspire the next generation of firefighters.

This morning the Department held a news conference announcing its annual Summer Youth Academy in partnership with the Columbia Urban League.

The program takes place from July 10 through the 21st.
