CRFD investigating small fire at Garners Ferry Walmart

Columbia, S.C. (WOLO)– Columbia firefighters are investigating the cause of a fire at Walmart on Garners Ferry Rd.

A spokesperson for the department says the fire began Thursday morning in the main area of the store and damaged some merchandise, the sprinklers were activated which caused further damage.

No injuries were reported.

Firefighters say they are working to determine the cause.
