Lexington Coroner releases identity of single-vehicle collision victim
LEXINGTON, S.C. (WOLO)— The Lexington Coroner has released the identity of the individual who died in a single-vehicle collision on Gardner’s Terrace Road in the West Columbia area of Lexington Co on May 13 at around 12:58 a.m.
Coroner Fisher says 60 year-old Marvin James Gilpatrick Jr. was traveling southbound on Gardner’s Terrace Road when his vehicle traveled left off the roadway, hitting two culverts, and overturning.
He was not wearing a seat-belt and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident is still under investigation.
