Richland Co. Coroner identifies Columbia teen killed in Crofton Way shooting

RICHLAND CO., S.C. (WOLO) – The Richland County Coroner’s Office has identified a teenager killed in a shooting last week.

Coroner Naida Rutherford identified the victim as Antonio Riley, 18, of Columbia, SC.

On Friday, May 12, Richland County deputies say they responded to a shots fired call at Crofton Way just after 7 p.m.

They found Riley dead on scene with multiple gun shot wounds to his upper body.

Deputies are investigating this shooting as a homicide.
