SCDEW: SC unemployment rate down to 3.1%

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— Good news on the job front in South Carolina.

According to the Department of Employment and Workforce the unemployment rate for April was 3.1%, down from 3.2%.

Officials say more than two million people are working in the state, an increase of nearly 14,000 from the previous month.
