KCSO: Man wanted for questioning in shooting arrested
KERSHAW, S.C. (WOLO)— Kershaw deputies say a person wanted for questioning in a shooting that happened last week has been arrested.
Rayford Lyn Ford, 49, turned himself in on Thursday. Deputies say he’s charged for shooting a man in the lower body at Westover Acres in Lugoff last Tuesday.
According to Sheriff Lee Boan, they believe the two men knew each other started a fight, but it’s unclear exactly what happened that led to someone getting shot.
The victim’s injury is not life-threatening.
Ford was taken to the Kershaw County Detention Center.
