Sen. Graham releases statement on Tim Scott announcing presidential run

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)—U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham issued the following statement on U.S. Senator Tim Scott’s announcement that he is running in the 2024 presidential elections:

“Congratulations to my good friend Senator Tim Scott on his announcement that he is running for President of the United States. Tim makes South Carolina proud, and he is one of the most talented and hard-working public servants I’ve ever known. He will have an optimistic vision for the future of conservatism and America, and I know he will acquit himself well.”

Tim Scott kicked off his campaign this morning at his Alma Mater, Charleston Southern University.

Former President Donald Trump and former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley are just some of the republicans who are also running for president.
