Columbia PD asking for tips regarding fatal shooting on Assembly St.

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— Columbia Police continue to investigate yesterday’s shooting on Assembly Street that left one person dead.

A man was detained by Metro Region officers on Hampton Street after the incident for questioning, say authorities.

Officers are gathering more information to determine who shot the person and why.
