Inmate at Columbia prison found dead in cell, says S.C. Department of Corrections
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)—The South Carolina Department of Corrections announced the death of an inmate at a Columbia prison today.
Marquis Antwain Patton, 34, an inmate at Broad River Correctional Institution, was found dead in his cell.
His death is being investigated as a suspected suicide, say authorities.
Officials say he did not have a cellmate.
