Authorities investigating inmate’s death as suspected homicide

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)—The SC Department of Corrections announced an inmate at Broad River Correctional Institution died today.

James Harrison Pennington, 44, died in his cell, say authorities.

His death is being investigated as a suspected homicide.
