SCDOT: Closed lane, walking path over Lake Murray Dam temporarily reopened during July 4 weekend

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)—The South Carolina Department of Transportation says the closed lane and walking path over Lake Murray Dam will be temporarily reopened this weekend.

The areas will be opened to provide public viewing access for fireworks and other Independence Day festivities, say officials.
