S.C. Labor Department investigating Midlands restaurant over pay complaints
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— The State Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation is investigating a Midlands restaurant.
A spokesperson for the department tells ABC Columbia News that the department’s Payment of Wages Offices is investigating Alodias Cucina Italiano in Lexington.
Officials say they have received three complaints against the restaurant referencing tips and minimum wage.
They have also instructed the complainants on how to file a grievance with the U.S. Department of Labor.
