Teen arrested in Colleton Street murder investigation

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— Columbia Police arrested a 16 year-old in connection with a fatal shooting that happened at Gable Oaks Apartments.

The arrest comes after Officers responded to a shooting on July 9 before 9:30 p.m. on Colleton Street. A 33 year-old was found dead with gunshot wounds at the site.

The victim was identified by the Richland County Coroner as Victor D. Glover.

Investigators believe the suspect met with the victim for a prearranged drug sale.

The teen was charged with Murder, Possession of a Weapon during the Commission of a Violent Crime, Possession of a
Pistol by a Person under the age of Eighteen, Unlawful Carry of a Pistol and Armed Robbery.
