Gov. declares ‘Israel Solidarity Week’ in South Carolina

Columbia, S.C. (WOLO)–Gov. Henry McMaster has proclaimed this week, “Israeli Solidarity Week in South Carolina”
The governor’s proclamation re-affirms South Carolina and the United States’ support of Israel following the attack by Hamas.
It also recognizes the contributions of South Carolina’s Jewish community.
The oldest synagogue in continuous use in the country is located in Charleston.
