Lexington students enjoy candypalooza at Vivid Church

LEXINGTON, S.C. (WOLO) – Nearly a dozen schools in Lexington were invited to a candypalooza event at Vivid Church.
Vivid Church sent emails to eight thousand families, inviting them to come out to paint pumpkins and enjoy bouncy houses, obstacle courses, and sack races. Each child received a bag of candy, small toys, a t-shirt, and a message of faith.
“When they’re here, they are having fun, but we are also going to introduce them to the gospel of Jesus through a pumpkin story. So that’s one of the reasons we wanted to reach out because, as a church, our number one goal is to see people come to know Jesus and experience Jesus. So at Vivid Church, we believe it’s fun and exciting, and everyone deserves to hear the gospel message,” said Tammy Harvey, who is the Youth Director at Vivid Church.
Church leaders say no one should do life alone, and this event was an opportunity to connect with the community.
