Woman accused of fatal Waverly Street shooting arrested in Mississippi
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — A woman accused of fatally shooting a man on Waverly Street has been extradited back to Columbia, S.C., say police.
Sarah Eltman is accused of shooting 49-year-old Bobby O. Steele after an argument in the 2100 block of Waverly Street on Oct. 5, 2023.
Steele was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead on Oct. 17, 2023.

Investigators say once Eltman is extradited to South Carolina, Columbia Police Department Violent Crimes Unit will charge her with murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.
Eltman, 25, was captured this week by the United States Marshal’s Service’s (USMS) Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force in Mississippi.
