111 warrants served during SCDPPP ‘Operation South Carolina Round-Up’

The South Carolina Department of Probation, Parole and Pardon Services (SCDPPPS) announced a Halloween Curfew for sex offenders on probation/parole.
Columbia, SC (WOLO) — 230 South Carolina Department of Probation, Parole and Pardon services, in conjunction with 17 Federal, State, County and local law enforcement agencies served more than a hundred warrants during one week in the month of October. Law enforcement officials checking their list of offenders and taking many of them in to custody.
Authorities say between October 15, 2023 to October 22, 2023, the South Carolina Department of Probation, Parole and Pardon Services (SCDPPPS) arrested 111 wanted offenders. It was all a part of ‘Operation South Carolina Round-Up,’ a statewide warrant operation.
Officials from across the state say they spent that week with a laser focus on locating and arresting wanted sex offenders, domestic violence offenders, gang members, violent offenders, and those offenders who have not reported in several months.
SCDPPPS Acting Director Jodi Gallman said in a statement,
“The Department holds offenders accountable that refuse to comply with the conditions established by the Courts and Parole Board. Additionally, we have the unique balance of our mission to assist offenders under our supervision to become productive members of the community. ‘Operation South Carolina Round-Up’ helps make our communities safer across the state.”
Authorities say if there are wanted a offenders who are suppose to be on supervision they are strongly encouraged to get in touch with their local county Probation and Parole office in hopes of taking care of any warrants that are outstanding.
230 SCDPPPS Agents along with officers from 17 federal, state, county and local law enforcement agencies attempted and served warrants, with several follow up investigations continuing. Wanted offenders on supervision are encouraged to contact their local county probation and parole office to resolve any outstanding warrants.
