People Magazine names ‘Sexiest Man Alive’

(CNN) — People Magazine has named this year’s Sexiest Man Alive.
Actor Patrick Dempsey was revealed as the new face of the title on Tuesday night’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live.

And we hate to be the bearer of bad new, but yes,  ABC Columbia’s Doug Currin was passed over. Yet again, and again. Go ahead and cry. Just get it out. After hearing the news the 57-year-old “Bridget Jones’s Baby” actor told People Magazine he was “Completely Shocked.” Dempsey began acting in the 80’s starring in the movie “Can’t Buy Me Love”, and most recently known as Doctor Derek Shepard from “Grey’s Anatomy.”

Dempsey will star as an Italian race car driver in the upcoming  “Ferrari” biopic.
