Local Living: Carolina Lights returns next week

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– In today’s look at local living, Carolina Lights returns next month!
The holiday drive-thru will feature more than 100 individual LED light displays.
There will also be milk and cookies available for purchase as well as treats for your dog.
The light show runs from Dec.8 through Dec.24 at the state fairgrounds.

The 38th annual Vista Lights kicks off this week.
More than 60 galleries, shops, and restaurants will showcase their holiday items and dishes.
There will also be a tree lighting at the corner of Gervais and Lincoln Streets.
It all takes place tomorrow from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m.

The South Carolina Department of Veterans’ Affairs is hosting its annual food drive for veterans, service members, and their families.
It runs through Friday, Nov.17 at their headquarters at 1800 Saint Julian Place.
Anyone can drop off non-perishable food items like canned fruits, vegetables, cereal, and peanut butter among others.
