Orangeburg deputies searching for person accused of stealing fuel from country truck

ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Orangeburg County investigators are searching for a person accused of stealing gas from a public works facility.

According to deputies the person removed fuel after drilling a hole in the gas tank of a county truck at the county public works facility on Neeses Camp Road in Neeses.

Investigators say security cameras on the property captured the person stealing the gas.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact the Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office at 803-534-3550.

“This individual damaged a county vehicle to steal a quantity of gas,” the sheriff said. “If anyone recognizes this person, please give us a call.”
