Traffic Alert: Paving work on Augusta Road/US-1 at I-20 causes lanes to close

LEXINGTON, S.C. (WOLO)– The Lexington Police Department has announced that an inbound and outbound lane on Augusta Road/US-1 at I-20 is closed due to paving work in the area.

Officers are asking anyone in the area to consider an alternate route as work will continue until 4 p.m.

TRAFFIC ALERT – Paving work on Augusta Road/US-1 at I-20 has a lane inbound and a lane outbound closed. This is causing congestion and drivers are asked to drive alert as workers are in the roadway.
