New Google feature helps shoppers buy from small businesses

CNN– If you prefer to shop local and support small businesses Google has a new feature just for you.

The search giant is out with a new small business filter for its search function and maps application.

It helps shoppers find products offered online by local retailers that identify as small businesses.

In addition to local businesses, it includes e-commerce brands and vendors from marketplaces like Esty and eBay.

To use the feature in “search” select the “small business filter when shopping on desktop or mobile.
