Sumter County: Deputies investigating shooting after man found dead in the area of Seminole Road and Cone Street
SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Sumter County deputies are investigating a shooting after a report of shots fired in the area of Seminole Road and Cone Street on Sunday night say deputies.
On Sunday night, shortly after 10 p.m., investigators discovered a dead man lying on the ground while they spoke with witnesses and searched for evidence.
“Our investigators are actively continuing to collect evidence and pursue leads that will identify the suspect or suspects involved in the shooting,” commented Sheriff Anthony Dennis.
