Sumter County coroner identifies human remains found on Cimmaron Road
SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– The Sumter County Coroner’s Office has positively identified the human remains found on Sunday in the woods says the coroner’s office.
The coroner’s office says the remains are Frederick Ricardo Nelson Jr., 34, of Sumter.
Nelson was identified through forensic testing completed with the assistance of The State Law Enforcement and confirmed by his family.
An autopsy conducted at The Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston revealed he suffered from multiple gunshot wounds.
