Deputies: Logging crew found skeletal remains in Fairfield County

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Fairfield County deputies say they are assisting the Fairfield County Coroner’s Office in an investigation involving partial skeletal remains.

The remains were found by a logging crew working in the western part of Fairfield County, south of Jenkinsville.

Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office deputies say they are working with the coroner’s office to determine the identity and cause of death.
