Study: More kids asking for video games for Christmas

CNN– More kids are asking for video game-related gifts than actual toys for the holidays this year.

That’s what a new study conducted by the Entertainment Software Association says.

Researchers say almost 60% of girls and 86% of boys between the ages of 10 to 17 want virtual world-related gifts.

Gaming platform Roblox reported more than 70 million average daily users in November which is up 20% from last year.

Fortnite and Minecraft boast similar user numbers as well.
