World Food Programme warns of limited water, food in Gaza
(CNN) — The world food programme is warning of limited access to food and water in the Gaza strip.
They say 97% percent of palestinian households in the Northern areas of the strip and 83% percent in the South report inadequate food consumption, with many having spent at least one day without eating.
This comes as senate republicans in the U.S. blocked an aid package for Israel and Ukraine from advancing, saying must be paired with major U.S. Border Security policy changes.
Republicans and Democrats have signaled they are willing to compromise on the issue, but negotiations have not resulted in a bi-partisan deal.
