Holiday spending expected to be up this year, says poll

CNN–It looks like many of you are shelling out big bucks this Christmas.
According to a new Gallup Poll, shoppers are expected to spend an average of $975 on gifts this year.
That is one hundred dollars more from what they predicted a year ago.
It is also the highest average holiday shopping budget since Gallup began tracking back in 1999.
