‘It was a shocker’: Midlands woman wins big on $10 scratch-off

IRMO, S.C. (WOLO)– A Midlands woman was in shock after winning $300,000 on a $10 scratch-off in Irmo, say the South Carolina Education Lottery officials.

Lottery officials say after the woman realized she had won she reached for her phone and called family and friends to tell them the news.

“It was a shocker,” said the woman describing the winning moment.

The win leaves three top prizes of $300,000 in The Rolling Jackpot game at odds of 1 in 1,080,000, say lottery officials.
