Firefighters in Orangeburg County respond to propane leak at Dollar General

ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– The North Fire Department responded to a propane leak on Sunday at the Dollar General, said the Orangeburg County Fire District.

According to firefighters, a quick assessment determined the leak was coming from a 20 lb. cylinder in an exchange rack.

Firefighters removed the cylinder to a safe location before an inspection found the leak was from a pinpoint hole on the bottom.

The leak was patched and the service provider for the propane was contacted to retrieve the faulty cylinder, say firefighters.
