Coroner identifies man who died after late night shooting at Cayce apartment complex

CAYCE, S.C. (WOLO)– The Lexington County coroner has identified the man who died after being shot at a Cayce apartment complex, says the coroner’s office.
The shooting happened at the Abbott Arms Apartments in the 2000 block of Wilkinson Street around 11 p.m. in the Cayce area of Lexington County on Monday, Dec. 11, 2023.
Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher says Travis Antwan Fuller Jr., 19, of Columbia, was shot in the upper body and taken to a nearby hospital where he was later pronounced dead due to his injuries.
An autopsy is scheduled for Dec. 13, at MUSC in Charleston, say Coroner Fisher.
The Cayce Police Department and the Lexington County Coroner’s Office are continuing to investigate the shooting.

CAYCE, S.C. (WOLO)– A man is dead after a shooting at an apartment complex on Monday night, says the Cayce Police Department.
According to the Cayce Police Department, officers responded around 11 p.m. to a report of shots fired at the Abbott Arms Apartments on Monday, Dec. 11.
When officers arrived to the scene a man was found shot, say CPD.
The man was driven to a nearby hospital where he later died due to his injuries.
Investigators say they are interviewing witnesses and processing the crime scene as a part of their ongoing investigation.
