Lexington County deputies investigating after reports of body seen near Amazon facility

LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department said deputies are in the early stages of a death investigation after reports of a body near an Amazon.

According to the sheriff’s department, deputies received reports of a body seen in a retention pond near the Amazon facility on 12th Street Ext.

Amazon officials and deputies are working together to ensure the security of the scene while crime scene investigators are at the scene.
