2 DJJ juvenile correctional officers charged with misconduct in office
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– According to DJJ officials, Jessica Norton, 39, of Lexington and Ayotunde Roane, 39, of Columbia were charged with misconduct in office.
The South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice said the charges are related to improper contact with youth.
Both Norton and Roane were suspended during the pending investigation and both resigned from their positions as juvenile correction officers during the investigation.
